Match Report Press Report

Bluecoat Sports Horsham I Lost to Dolphin I in a close match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 4 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 3 string should have been the closest, with only 12 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, Sam Hanbury, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 2 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 82 Points ! Victory finally going to the Home Player, Will Johnson.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 5 string, Tom Crompton, gaining 100 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 5 string, Tom Crompton, who over-turned a 500 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
