Match Report Press Report

Acorns Copthorne Squash Club II Lost to Crawley Squash Club III in a one-sided match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 3 string should have been the closest, with only 42 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, Torrie Malik, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 4 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 110 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Bailey Malik.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 1 string, Caleb Boy, gaining 100 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 1 string, Caleb Boy, who over-turned a 510 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
