Match Report Press Report

Horsham II Beat The West Worthing Club I in a close match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. This turned out to be the case with a Home win.

On paper, the number 5 string should have been the closest, with only 86 ranking points separating the two players before the match. Home advantage prevailed though, with Michael Van Der Weyden winning through.

It was the number 4 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 136 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Luke Wells.

With 3 strings going the distance, the match turned out to be a hard-fought battle.

Player of the match must be the Away number 2 string, Chris Bladen, who over-turned a 2835 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
