Match Report Press Report

Weald II Lost to Dolphin III.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 5 string should have been the closest, with only 28 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, Julian Barker-Danby, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 2 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 129 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Nigel Medhurst.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 3 string, Simon Teague, gaining 40 Ranking Points from the match.

With 4 strings going the distance, the match turned out to be a hard-fought battle.
